The Temple Terrace Community Garden (TTCG) is a public space where friends enjoy time together in a friendly, safe, creative community of people who like to garden.

TTCG consist of two sites. Plot 1, located behind Riverhills Elementary School, is actively being worked. This site consists of one communal plot.

Plot 2 is located in Riverhills Park next to the tennis courts, and is under construction.

TTCG began communal gardening

in Plot 1 January 2012. Our goal is

to offer individual garden sites

in Plot 2 in fall 2012.

Member benefits include assistance for new gardeners, community composting, classes, cooking, nutrition, celebrations, planting parties, crop contests, and more as requested.

The Planning Committee (PC) is the general governing board of the TTCG. The PC, comprised of seven members, has voting rights on all garden matters. They are responsible for all planning and governance decisions of the TTCG.

The TTCG is a community project that welcomes everyone who is willing to participate. To ensure an atmosphere of cooperation and friendship in our garden, we ask everyone to join with a willingness to accept all kinds of people.

Full membership benefits will be extended to everyone regardless of race, color, religion, familial status, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or anything else.
